This matchmaking meeting aims to promote exchanges and cooperation between Piauí State and Xiamen in the fields of industry, economy and trade, especially in emerging industries such as solar energy. Mr. Peter, a Brazilian in Xiamen, worked with us to have in-depth exchanges with the governor of Piauí State and relevant representatives.

Photovoltaic installed capacity is increasing in these years.

However, the Brazilian photovoltaic industry also faces many troubles.

Firstly is the financing problem. Since rooftop photovoltaic projects are usually small in scale, It is difficult for financial institutions to raise funds, So many owners have difficulty obtaining sufficient financial support to build rooftop photovoltaic systems.

Secondly, the lack of installation standards and specifications has led to uneven installation quality in the market, which not only affects the power generation efficiency and service life of the photovoltaic system, but also has certain security risks.

In terms of ground mounting projects

The complex land acquisition and approval process is a big problem. Solar ground PV projects require large areas of land. But in Brazil, where land ownership is scattered, acquiring the right land and completing the relevant approval procedures often takes a lot of time and effort.
