Using Danxia steel as its core material, Baosteel drove green innovation in PV power generation technology. In May 2024, monthly orders exceeded 12,000 tonnes. In northern, western, and central China markets, Baosteel supplied 7,000 tonnes of mounts for a tidal flat project, achieving the first large‑scale application of super weather‑resistant steel in a domestic marine tidal flat (C5 environment).
As of June 2024, Danxia steel had been supplied for more than 45,000 tonnes and used in 1.5 GW of PV projects across regions including Yunnan, Inner Mongolia, Sichuan, Hubei, Shanxi, Xinjiang, and Shandong, covering diverse scenarios such as mountains, coal mine backfill, iron tailings sites, agrivoltaics, fishery‑solar hybrids, deserts, and coastal tidal flats.

3. Flexible Mounts: LONGi Obtains Anchor Structure Patent
In December 2024, LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. obtained a patent for a “Flexible PV Mount Anchor Structure and PV Power Generation System” (Authorization No. CN 222122134 U).
The patented design includes a frame body, an adjustment component, and a rotating connector, enabling flexible connection between the cable and the fixing member through the rotating connector. The adjustment component includes a cable fixing member with cable holes for securing cables, and the axis of the rotating connector is perpendicular to the axis of the cable holes.
This design solves a key technical challenge in anchoring flexible mount cables, further advancing the maturity of flexible mount technology.
